About Ratko Vujicic, MD

Ratko Vujicic, MD, or Dr. V, as his patients like to call him, has practiced for 30 years, with the goal of helping patients in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Charlotte, North Carolina, find relief from their chronic pain so they can return to a thriving life. Dr. Vujicic serves patients at his practice, V Pain Clinic.

With board certification in anesthesiology and pain management, he combines his expertise with a dedication to providing individualized treatment. He’s proud to be available in the office so he can offer timely appointments and personally work with each patient to find solutions to their health care needs.

Dr. Vujicic graduated from Medical School University of Zagreb, Croatia . During his internship at the University Hospital Rebro in Zagreb Croatia Dr. Vujicic was involved in the cardiac surgery program. He continued his surgical training as a guest surgical resident at the Transplant Department of the University Hospital in Graz Austria. After that he served as an Emergency Physician in the US Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH) covering UN and NATO troops deployed to the Balkan during Operation Provide Promise.

After relocating to Portland, Maine, Dr. Vujicic served as an intern, anesthesiology resident, and chief resident at Maine Medical Center. From there he completed a fellowship in pain management at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. He has been in private practice since 2003.
